Now the Games are over- London 2012
Its been two weeks of thrills ,spills, upsets, records set and broken (and I think some bones as well sadly).I for one enjoyed the Olympics immensely not just because I get to see some great performances in sports I would not usually be privy to but also for the fact that its a great coming together of nations in a superb show of talents. For two weeks its like the world stood still or at least took some time off to watch and cheer I am sure, their country men and women who represented them with such poise and determination. One wonders what it would be like if we could come together and get along as Nations and Neighbours in the fashion that we see the athletes come together over the past two weeks. It would no doubt be a great boost for World Peace. My personal favourites among the sports were Swimming, Gymnastics and Athletics and I will not name countries or Athletes because they all were brilliant in their o
